In this Terms and conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

‘Tutor’ means the person that has appropriate qualifications and experience to provide tuition services and who has the intention of entering into a Contract to provide online classes and/or making video tutorials.
“The company” means m/s Lumensacademy.
‘Parent, Guardian or Client means the person and/or persons seeking to purchase the video tutorial and/or willing to get the live classes.
‘Contract’ means the agreement between the company and the Tutor to perform services for the company.
‘Session’ means any period of time during which a Tutor is interacting with a student via the facilities offered through the Website.
‘Free Trial’ means a free trial Session with a Tutor during which the student can evaluate the suitability of the Tutor for the tutoring she/he requires.

Terms and conditions for purchasing the product

By clicking, I confirm/understand that

I have checked all the lessons/chapters to be covered in the video tutorial and agreed to purchase thereafter.
I am fully satisfied with the quality of the lessons included and contents of the video lesson(s).
The amount paid is non-refundable under any circumstance.
The company will deliver the login credentials on the email provided by me only after receiving the full payment.
Order once purchased, cannot be cancelled.
The company (lumensacademy) shall not be responsible in case of any incomplete transaction that may arise due to network/ or any technical reasons.
I will not use the contents/lessons of the tutorials for any commercial purposes.
I will not pass login credentials to any third party for any purpose(s).
I am the sole/authorized user of the tutorials; I will not pass login credentials to another non-authorized person(s). in case of violation of para 7,8, and 9, by doing so the company have full right to cancel the subscription without any notice.

Delivery Policy

Delivery means the digital download of subscribed content to the customers.

Parents/student’s duties:

If you are a parents, the following provisions in this paragraph apply to you:

The Parent/guardian, is responsible for verifying the credentials, expertise, references, and qualifications of any Tutor with whom they enter into or propose to enter into a Contract. The company does not offer any guarantee that any information provided on the company website is accurate and correct.
Before we supply a Tutor’s contact details to you, you may be required to submit and confirm information in relation to yourself, your tuition requirements and the terms on which you would be prepared to engage a Tutor to provide tuition services. You agree to supply such information and consent to it being shared with potential Tutors.
Should there be any circumstances in which the student/parents notice a Tutor behaving inappropriately, then they must report this to the company immediately. The company will not take any responsibility if parents do not follow this rule.
Students/parents are not allowed to share any personal details with Tutors nor engage in any personal conversation with them.
Students/parents must not under any circumstances use Lumens academy for personal tutoring at a later stage. Noticing any such activity, the company have full legal rights to take any legal action against the student/parents.
Student/parents must contact a Tutor through the company website only. Any other means of communication is prohibited.
A student must not publish any abusive comments about a Tutor or the company on the any social networking site/ our website or any other place. This includes defamatory or derogatory comments.
The company is not responsible for examination result; this is the sole responsibility of the student’s hard work.
The company are not liable for any financial loss that may occur during payment, due to technical reasons such as power failure, network not available or any other as a result.
The payment once paid cannot be reclaimed under any circumstance.

Liability and indemnity

The company can give no warranty, representation or undertaking as to the suitability, honesty or capability of any Tutor nor as to the completeness, truthfulness or accuracy of any information or statement or reference provided by the Agency or on its behalf to the Employer or as it shall direct in respect of the Tutor. Verification of all such information and references shall be the Client’s responsibility.

The company is not responsible for the provision of Tutor Sessions by Tutors.
The company does not guarantee that a Tutor will be secured to meet the Tutee’s needs.
The company is not responsible for any grade received by the student.
The company cannot vouch 100% for any of our Tutors’ character and conduct.

No Liability

It is the endeavour of m/s lumensacademy to ensure that the information provided on the Web site is accurate but does not guarantee or warrant its accuracy, adequacy, correctness, validity, completeness or suitability for any purpose, and accepts no responsibility with respect to the information on the website.
